


Jon formed Downings IT Support in October 2003, bringing to the business 10 years of experience of working with computers, and helping people get a better understanding of how they work. Prior to Downings IT, he spent 3 years working as an IT manager for a construction services company, responsible for maintaining and improving the companies computer networks, as well as implementing a move from a terminal based UNIX system to a multi-platform PC and UNIX based system, which enabled the company to harness the power of the internet, communicate internally better, through the use of e-mail, and access it's data from any of it's sites, via a kilostream link.
Jon holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Information Technology, from NESCOT in Epsom Surrey, and a National Diploma in Business and Finance from Alton College.
